Note: The reason why I am skipping mad max 3 is because the V8 interceptor is not in it. Sadly, the vehicle gets destroyed in the movie. Max also integrates a trap which destroys the car anytime anyone else tries to take fuel from the vehicle. ![]() The spoiler is taken off the car to house the tanks. There are two huge auxiliary fuel tanks at the back. The biggest visual change is at the rear: Inside, Max makes a custom seat for his dog inside, and it looks very cluttered. The old Interceptor’s side exhaust pipes have been taken off and now there are straight pipes instead of pipes with a trumpet-like end. The car is painted matte black to make it have a worn and used look. First, it looks battered and worn and the custom front skirt is taken off so that the Interceptor can go offroad in the apocalypse. In the sequel, the V8 Interceptor undergoes many changes.
